Davida M. Edwards

Davida Edwards was a native Texan, a devoted wife and mother, and a long-time church leader. Mrs. Edwards served as the Vice President of Edwards and Associates, Secretary-Treasurer of W.C. Square Shopping Center and as Vice President of W.C. Supply Company, Inc. She was instrumental in recruiting the first nursing class at Tyler Junior College, which was then known as the Texas Eastern School of Nursing.

This scholarship was established in 2015, by Davida’s son D.M. Edwards, in loving memory of his mother.
