East Texas Center for Independent Living Annual Scholarship

This scholarship will be given to a student pursuing an associate’s degree in sign language interpretation. The recipient will be enrolled in the final semester of the program and will have achieved at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA on all prior coursework. The recipient must reside in one of the 13 counties served by the East Texas Center for Independent Living and must be planning to do contract community interpreting upon receiving state and/or national certification.
