Blake Bailey Family Good Samaritan Endowed Scholarship

The scholarship committee will consider a student’s work ethic and sense of responsibility over selecting a recipient solely based on their ability to score high on exams. This scholarship is based on good character and is intended to benefit a deserving student.

This scholarship will be awarded to a student majoring in vocational education. Preference will be given to students pursuing a degree or certificate in an area of study that is most conducive to the cutting-edge demands of the modern workforce. Eligible students include those pursuing a workforce education program, career and technical education (CTE) program, certificate, or Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree that prepares graduates for immediate employment in a skilled trade, technical, healthcare, industrial, or applied profession.

The recipient must demonstrate financial need through submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) but should not be Pell Grant eligible.
