Matt Crouch- Cynergy Information Technology Scholarship Endowment
The Matt Crouch – Cynergy Information Technology Scholarship was established to honor the memory and achievements of Matthew Alan Crouch before his passing from COVID in 2021.
This scholarship will benefit students pursuing an Associate of Science Degree and CompTIA A+ Certification by providing a scholarship. Through a supportive partnership with Cynergy Technology and TJC the recipient will additionally benefit from participation in an internship. Cynergy Technology is a local business that provides IT Support and Cybersecurity solutions by streamlining its technology investments.
1. To be considered, applicants will complete the scholarship application. Following application submission, the Scholarship Committee of the College or its designee will select three top finalists to be interviewed by the Crouch family and Cynergy for the final selection.
2. Academic requirements require the recipient to be enrolled full-time at TJC and remain in good academic standing (minimum 2.00 GPA).
3. Upon selection, the recipient must be approved for a CJUS background check and pass a basic drug and background check to participate in the Cynergy internship.
4. The recipient and Cynergy Technology will coordinate and manage internship hours and timeframe as business dictates.
5. The recipient must reside in Smith or surrounding counties
