Gatewood-Hawkins Foundation Workforce Scholarship Endowment

Deserving students participating in one of the workforce preparation programs offered at the college, including those within the professional and technical areas, will be given priority consideration as recipients of the scholarship. Secondary consideration will be given to deserving students participating in nursing and health sciences.

Students who have successfully participated in the TJC Promise program and are participating in workforce preparation programs may be considered as recipients of the scholarship.

The TJC Promise Program is a six-year, comprehensive program that spans from 9th grade through the first two years of college. The TJC Promise encourages students within the TJC tax district to perform well academically in high school and college, while limiting the number of missed school days and promoting community service.
